Alabama Coastal Cleanup Coming Up
If your stay lines up with Saturday, September 19, 2026, you can spend the morning helping out along the water. The 39th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup runs from 8:00 a.m. to noon, and the theme says it all: “Get the Trash Out of the Splash.”
The cleanup focuses on protecting local waterways and shoreline. You can sign up solo or bring your whole crew. It’s a great fit for families or groups traveling together who want to give a little back to the place they’re visiting.
Registration is online through the City of Fairhope sign-up form. For more details, visit alabamacoastalcleanup.com or call 251-621-1216.
Tip: Wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet or muddy, and bring water and sunscreen for the morning.
