Fairhope Farmers Market Every Thursday

If you’re in town on a Thursday afternoon, the Fairhope Farmers Market is an easy stop. It runs from 2 to 6 p.m. The city lists the location as behind the Fairhope Library, and the market flyer lists the corner of Bancroft & Magnolia.

Remaining market dates this season are September 24, October 1, October 8, October 15, October 22, November 5, and November 12. Once daylight saving time ends, the market closes at 5 p.m., so plan to arrive earlier later in the season.

Bring a tote bag so you can carry your finds back to your rental.

Live at Five Concert This Thursday

The Live at Five Concert Series takes over Halstead Amphitheater this Thursday, September 24, at 5 p.m. It fits nicely after an afternoon at the farmers market.

A blanket or folding chair will make the evening more comfortable. See the city’s event listing for more details.

You can get around downtown without searching for parking. A free shuttle serves the Fairhope Business District Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fairhope Museum of History and the Fannie Flagg Exhibit

The Fairhope Museum of History welcomes visitors and is a good place to learn about the people, places, and stories that shaped the town.

The museum also has a new Fannie Flagg exhibit. If you’re traveling with a group, you can schedule a group tour by emailing alexandra.box@fairhopeal.gov. Learn more about the museum.
