When planning a vacation, consider Fairhope First!

Though I’m retired now and live in the Smoky Mountains, I am from Fairhope and the Eastern Shore will always be “home”. Beth Anne’s place is the quintessential “bay house “ right on the water, pier and dock out back (really the ‘front’ for a bay house). The doggos loved being able to go in and out onto the doggy secured deck. The weather was perfect for December, as always Fairhope was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the restaurant selection and variety cannot be beat. I really should visit in August—won’t get nearly as homesick 🥲 Do not hesitate to book Beth Anne’s house if you’re looking for an authentic Eastern Shore experience…You can thank me later! 😁

The reviews were spot-on -- this cottage was adorable, quiet, peaceful and very relaxing! Just a short ride to Fairhope, where the town was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Day trip to Gulf Shores was both a lovely scenic ride as well as easy beach access. Excellent restaurant choices in both locations. We brought lounge chairs to relax comfortably on the beach, as well as on the covered deck of the pier at the cottage, enjoying nature and the peace & quiet this time of year.
