Arts & Crafts Festival This Weekend
Downtown Fairhope transforms this weekend for the 74th annual Arts & Crafts Festival. One of the top-ranked arts festivals in the country, it draws artists from across the nation and visitors from everywhere. Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
If you’re staying in Fairhope, you’re walking distance from it all. One thing to plan around: downtown street closures start Thursday at 5 p.m., so adjust your driving accordingly.

Easter Bunny at the Fairhope History Museum
If you’re visiting Fairhope with kids the week after the festival, the Easter Bunny will be at the Fairhope History Museum on March 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring a camera. Free and open to everyone.
FVFD Open House
The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an open house at the Thompson Hall Fire Station on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Good family activity if you’re in town — fire trucks, station tours, and a look at their brand new training facility.
